What does VG10 give you? Very good edge retention, a fine grain that takes a keen edge, and real corrosion resistance. It is a premium stainless, and the blade is marked as such.
Does it have a pocket clip? Yes, a steel clip is fitted to the bolster side, and a snap leather belt pouch comes with the knife.
How does it open? One-handed, through the round hole cut in the blade. Jimping on the spine gives your thumb somewhere to sit once it is open, and the lock holds firm against a hard spine tap.
Why the opening hole
A round hole through the blade does the same job as a thumb stud without adding anything that can snag in a pocket. Your thumb sits in the hole and rolls the blade out in one motion. There is nothing protruding to catch on a seam, and nothing to work loose. The jimping cut into the spine behind the hole is where your thumb goes once the lock is engaged, and it gives you real purchase for a push cut. The stag scale is drilled for a lanyard at the butt.

7.5 inches open, 3.5 inches of blade, 4 inches of handle. That is a full four-finger grip with a usable edge, and it still rides flat.
