Some people know exactly what they want and there is no list on earth that has it. Draw it instead.
The pad below works like a sheet of paper. Sketch the blade, sketch the handle, write measurements straight onto the drawing if you have them, and send it over. Mark it up however makes sense to you — arrows, notes, a shape you saw once. Neatness has nothing to do with it. We read rough drawings every week and they tell us more in ten seconds than a long email does.
It costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You get a price and an honest answer about whether it will work in steel.
Cannot find it in the list? Draw it.

A real person looks at every sketch and replies within one working day with a price and a lead time. Drawing something does not commit you to anything.

- We will not copy another maker’s trademarked design or anything we are not allowed to forge. If that is what the picture shows, we will say so and refund you.

What happens after you send it
- Mark reads itA person, not a form. If the drawing is unclear we ask rather than guess.
- You get a straight answerWithin one working day: a price, a lead time, and if part of it will not hold up in steel, we say which part and what we would do instead.
- Nothing moves until you say soNo deposit is taken and no steel is cut until you have seen the number and agreed to it.
- Then we make itTwo to three weeks at the bench, and a photo of the finished knife before it ships.
Things worth drawing in
The four that change a quote most: overall length, blade length, where the widest point sits, and whether the tang runs the full length of the handle. If you know the steel or the handle material you want, write it on the sketch. If you do not, leave it and we will suggest something.
If you are copying a knife you already own or have seen, say so in the notes. It is far easier to match something real than to interpret a drawing from scratch, and we would rather get it right.

Questions people ask first
Do I have to be able to draw?
No. A stick outline with two measurements on it is a perfectly good brief. We are reading proportion and intent, not artwork.
What does a one-off cost compared with the configurator?
Usually within thirty or forty dollars of the equivalent build, because the work is the same either way. What pushes a price up is an unusual grind, a material we have to source, or a shape that needs a new jig. We tell you which of those applies before you commit.
Can I send a photo instead of drawing?
Yes. Sketch anything at all in the pad so the form will send, and mention in the notes that you have a photo. We reply by email and you can attach it to that.
Will you copy another maker’s knife exactly?
No. We will build something in the same spirit, at the same size, with the features you actually want, and it will be ours. Cloning another maker’s work is not something we do.
Is there a minimum order?
One. Ten or more and it becomes a workshop run, which is priced differently and usually cheaper per knife — say so in the notes and we will quote it that way.
What happens to my drawing?
It goes to the bench and nowhere else. We do not publish customer sketches or use them for anything but your knife.
