Damascus steel rings take the same folded, pattern-welded billet that goes into our blades and turn it into something you can wear every day. Each ring is forged from high-carbon Damascus, machined to a comfort-fit profile, hand-polished and acid etched so the fold pattern wraps the whole band. Because the layers are created in the fire, the pattern on your ring exists on no other ring in the world. Black Mamba builds them in men’s widths from roughly 6 mm to 10 mm, plain or with wood, copper and resin inlay, and finishes each one with a protective coating over the etch.

Are Damascus steel rings good for everyday wear? Yes. Damascus is harder and far more scratch resistant than gold or silver, and unlike tungsten it will not shatter if dropped on tile. It is the practical choice for anyone who works with their hands.

Do Damascus rings rust? The steel is high-carbon, so it can patina if left wet. Ours are sealed after etching. Dry the ring after swimming or washing up, and a wipe with a soft cloth keeps the contrast crisp for years.

Can a Damascus ring be resized? No – the pattern runs through the metal, so cutting and re-welding would destroy it. Measure carefully, or contact us and we will forge to your size.

Do they work as wedding bands? They are one of the most popular alternatives to tungsten and titanium, and no two bands are alike – which is part of the appeal. Engraving inside the band is available on request.

What is included? A presentation box, a certificate of authenticity, and care instructions for high-carbon Damascus steel.
