I was a little skeptical at first to say the least when looking for my next daily carry pocket knife. With so many companies promising quality over quantity but rarely delivering I had to do some research. After searching for a few days online I found Black Mamba Knives. I have to say I’m very impressed with the overall quality and feel of the knife. I ended up ordering a slightly less expensive model BMK-421 Rufous beaked Snake but can say without a doubt that it’s the nicest feeling knife I’ve bought. I probably have closer to fifty or more pocket knifes ranging from Kershaw to Buck and even some vintage Boker etc. This handmade knife from Black Mamba is worth every penny if not more. It’s a really nice knife. I really like a nice bone handle. There Damascus work is really in depth. Great work. I gave it only 4 stars only because of the false advertisement. The ad description says the knife is 8” long. With a 4” blade. In fact the knife is about 6”3/4 long. The blade is only 3” lonv and the handle is 3-3/4 long. Not 8”. Then when you go into the knife description it says the knife is 7” long. So which is it. I’m a man with big hands. I’m looking for a nice long large knife. Maybe the custom knife I’m going to have done will be right

Ok, the knife is as advertised. The Damascus is pretty and overall it is well put together. Not a bad knife for $72, but it is not made in the USA. After researching many sites I found that the most likely country of origin is Pakistan. I spent 16 years in the military and was wounded in the Middle East. I try not to buy things from countries that aided the killings of Americans. My bad for not researching earlier. If you want a US made knife go to allamerican.org. It will lead you to many choices.
