Damascus Knife Sets

Nine matched sets and pairs, all hand forged in our own workshop in Memphis, Tennessee. A Damascus steel knife set is a different purchase from nine separate knives: the pieces are made from the same billet run and the same handle stock, so the pattern and the colour carry across the group rather than clashing on the block.

What is in a set here

• Chef knife sets. The Snow Leopard Damascus chef knives set ships as a matched group with a dagger; the Black Cats set is the same shapes in black coated 440C stainless for a kitchen that will not hand wash every time.
• A tracker set of five. D2 steel, Tom Brown style blades in rosewood, walnut, black, burgundy and military green micarta, with a leather tracker sheath.
• Tomahawk pairs and trios. A Damascus and high carbon axe pair, and a set of three skeletonised Damascus throwing tomahawks with oak handles and leather sheaths.
• Balisong pairs. High carbon Filipino balisongs sold as a set of two, plus a lot of four trainers for anyone learning to flip.
• A neck knife set. The Tsetse Fly group, Damascus, small enough to carry without noticing.

Buying a set or buying one at a time

A set is the right answer when you want the pieces to match, when it is a gift, or when you are starting a kitchen from nothing. Buying one at a time is the right answer when you already know which shape you reach for, because a set always contains one knife you will not use.

Our handle materials repeat across the range, so knives bought separately over a year can still be matched. If you want that, note the handle material on the first one and ask us before the second.

Engraving is a paid option at checkout at $29 per piece, done in our own shop before the set ships. On a set that is often the whole point, and it is what turns a knife set into a wedding, retirement or anniversary gift.

How many pieces are in a Damascus knife set? It depends on the set. Ours run from a pair up to five pieces. Each product page lists exactly what is included.

Do the knives in a set match? Yes, within a set. The pieces come from the same billet run and the same handle stock, so the Damascus pattern and the handle colour are consistent across the group.

Can a knife set be engraved? Yes, at checkout, $29 per piece, done in house before it ships.

Do knife sets come with a case or a block? Sheaths are included where the set is fixed blades. Blocks and cases are not included as standard, and where a set ships in a wooden box the product page says so.

Is a set cheaper than buying separately? Usually yes, and the real saving is that the pieces match. Buying separately gets you exactly the shapes you want and a mixed look.
