Every knife on this site was made by hand in our own workshop. This is the page where you decide what we make next.

Pick the knife you actually need, then choose the steel, the handle, the hardware and what goes engraved on it. The price moves as you build, so nothing jumps at checkout. When the order lands, your spec goes to Mark and the shop cuts it from raw stock. Nothing is pulled off a shelf.

Why have one made

You stop compromising on the one thing

Almost everyone buying a knife settles for something. The steel is right but the handle is plastic. The blade is the shape you wanted but two inches too long. Building it removes the compromise, and it is usually the compromise people regret a year later, not the price.

It is not much more than a stock knife

A hand-made knife from our shelf sits around two hundred dollars. A build with good steel, a wood handle and a name on it lands in the same place. You are not paying a premium for custom here, because everything we sell is made by the same hands either way.

It is the one gift that never gets returned

A knife with the right date on the blade does not go in a drawer. Groomsmen sets, retirements, a first season in the field: these are the orders we see most, and they are the ones people photograph.

How it works

1. ConfigureWork down the page. Every choice shows what it adds, and the running total is always on screen.
2. OrderCheck out like anything else. If you picked an option we price by hand, we email you that number first and charge nothing until you agree.
3. We make itYour spec prints at the bench. Blade cut and ground, handle fitted, hardware set, edge finished. Two to three weeks.
4. It shipsFree expedited shipping inside the US, and we ship worldwide. Every build leaves with a photo of the finished knife.
